Miroglio Group strengthens its presence in Russia

Inauguration of the new Elena Mirò flagship store, and event at the Italian Embassy in Moscow.

Thursday October 25th 2012 will represent two important moments for the Miroglio Group.
Elena Mirò, the Miroglio Group’s brand and international leader in curvy prêt-à-porter, will be inaugurating a flagship store in Moscow, in the very central Kuznetskiy district, just a short walk from the Bolshoi Theatre and Red Square.
Elena Mirò already has 7 stores in Russia, and this is set to become 20 by the end of 2015.
The new store will extend over two floors, covering a total of 200 square metres. Inspired by the brand’s new store concept, it will feature traditional materials alongside highly-prized materials such as American black walnut, Turkish travertine (for the floorings and stairs) and silk glass (for the wall coverings). The result is a welcoming, elegant setting with a modern feel, fitted out as it is with multimedia video walls and stripes.
The opening of the new flagship store will be followed in the evening by an event held at the Italian Embassy in Moscow to be attended by members of the Russian business community, Italian entrepreneurs and the press. Performing live at the event will be Italian artist Nina Zilli. This will be an opportunity to highlight the Group’s commitment to Russia, where it is already present through a dedicated structure – the Russian Market Development Organisation – handling 4 clothing brands with 111 branded stores (Motivi, Elena Mirò, Caractère and Fiorella Rubino), as well as Textiles.
The event will be held in association with “Exhibitaly- Eccellenze italiane d’oggi”, a program promoting high quality Italian production with the patronage of the Russian Government and organized by a Committee set up in Italy by the Prime Minister’s Office, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Economic Development, the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities, and the Italian Trade Institute ICE.
