For.Me Elena Mirò: Fall Winter 2013/14

For its second collection to hit the catwalks of Milano Moda Donna, For.Me Elena Mirò, the new Elena Mirò project designed to enhance the style and taste of the curvy universe, further develops her glamorous and seductive vision of femininity.

The starting point is the cut of the figure which very clearly enhances the body’s sensuality. The modern A-line design of the coats, skirts and dresses adds a fresh look to the autumn-winter wardrobe. The essential little black dress remains one of the stars of the collection. Presented in a variety of different cuts and combinations, it is nonetheless a powerful embodiment of the For.Me “body conscious” spirit.

Warm and intense hues form the backdrop to maximalist details and luxury applications.

The colour palette ranges from the minimalist nuances of white, black and grey to the more vibrant tones typical of Italian saddlery: leather, camel, a touch of tangerine and a bold and decisive deep purple-red that dominates the whole collection.

Every individual garment is a combination of fabrics and textures, while leather and shiny ponyskin add a glamorous touch to the designs.

Glossy, Mikado, wool satin and silk fabrics are mingled with decidedly dense and substantial fabrics such as mohair bouclé. The beaver and black&white jacquard woolly coats are embellished with two-tone hand weaved fox fur. Animal prints on silk chiffon and ponyskin, on jacquard or embroidered, carry the decorative concept forward towards a refined sensuality.

A collection that confirms the inspiration of an innovative For.Me project: promoting a “real” feminine silhouette with a modern spirit, overcoming the logic behind sizing once and for all. And with unprecedented focus on the alluring seductive and stylistic potential of the curvy universe.
