Fashion & Textile Designer course goes national

The Miroglio Group, in association with the Apro Agency and with the patronage of the Ministries of Work and Education, is launching the thirteenth edition of the “Fashion & Textile Designer” course dedicated to the development of young stylists for the textiles and clothing sectors.

The course sets out to create “style professionals” capable of designing fabric, womenswear, accessory and knitwear collections by matching their own creativity with fashion trends and corporate needs in terms of industrialization. As a result of the success of the previous editions, which have enabled the training of 176 new stylists, as from this year the course is being extended nationwide.

“With this project” says Elena Miroglio, the Group’s Chief Strategy Officer, “we want to share our know-how and experience with aspiring young stylists in order to provide a high standard training opportunity and to develop professionals in line with the real needs of a market which is increasingly demanding in terms of skills”.

The course is intended for young people resident in Italy who have a qualification, diploma or degree - preferably in a technical-artistic field - and good drawing skills. It is free-of-charge, and participants are chosen through a selection process.

Lasting 7 months with full-time attendance, the course combines theory with practical design and workshops. The lessons are given by qualified teachers and industry professionals, and take place in Alba (CN), at the headquarters of the Miroglio Group.
