Fall Winter 2012/2013: Luxurious Shapes

The focus of the Elena Mirò autumn/winter 2012 collection is the female silhouette, enhanced by a discerning and precise design that accompanies and accentuates a desire for modern, simple and essential sensuality.

The lines, slightly soft, create an allure that is completely feminine, decidedly natural.

The coats envelop without being constrictive, following the body with flowing lines. The dresses, important protagonists of the collection, are constructed with clever cuts that enhance the waistline, further emphasised by jewelled belts.

The below-the-knee length offers glimpses of the body thanks to carefully positioned splits that are constructed and tailored.

The collection dispenses with frills and excessive decorations in favour of the measured use of colour nuances, combinations of materials and flecks of light. The modern and refined design is enriched with gold plated elements, an unusual rose gold, that exalt the curves at the focal points of a woman’s body.

Forms are exalted by the use of precious materials: pure, double or sable effect cashmere or a thin stretch version that fits like a second skin, illuminated with a subtle lamé finish that is almost evanescent. The silky jerseys caress the body, the chromatic effects of the satin cloque accentuate the female silhouette. The colours are natural and full of light: powder pink, nude, metal and rose gold are the most fascinating shades.

A collection that features a new and flattering interpretation of feminine shapes: the luxurious shapes of Elena Mirò.
