Miroglio Group company Miroglio Textile has appointed Alessandro Colombo as its new Chief Executive Officer. The manager will also retain the role assigned to him last September as Business Unit Director of its fabrics division, where he will continue to coordinate and manage the unit’s teams in their respective activities.

Alessandro Colombo has long-standing international experience in the textiles industry, having held roles of increasing responsibility in various companies both in Italy and abroad, in particular within the Marzotto Group. As a matter of fact, as General Manager he handled the reorganization of C.G.F. S.p.A., while as Director of the Collections Business Unit at Ratti S.p.A. he subsequently dedicated himself above-all to the reorganization of the BU, strategic development and new business.

His wide-ranging skills profile is an opportunity to give further impetus to the development and positioning of all Miroglio Textile’s business on both the Italian and export markets.

Miroglio Textile is one of the most important concerns in the textiles sector in Europe. With four highly-specialized logistics and production sites, it provides bespoke services to the most demanding customers on the printed fabrics, yarns, transfer paper and technical film markets.
